In my experience in working with business licenses, there are quite a few common mistakes I see when people are coming into our office. Most of these can be alleviated or solved by talking to your local business licensing department before starting your business. Government entities are there to help you during this process. We always appreciate answering questions beforehand so people do not get stuck in a situation that requires city enforcement. They have recently launched their new Women’s Influence Center, which functions as a nonprofit under the chamber. Women Rock Business in Vernal!

Just a few weeks ago we visited the women business owners in Vernal, UT! We were so impressed with how driven and resourceful the women are. This launch event was a little different because we were the speakers at the weekly luncheon the Chamber hosts for its members. So not only were there women business owners present, but the entire Vernal Chamber of  Commerce was there to learn about resources for women business owners as well!
