We offer free one-on-one business advising, free group trainings, and 24/7 access to webinars to help you grow as a business owner.

Efi Neofitos

Efi comes from a family of entrepreneurship. Ever since she was young she helped her family in their restaurants.  She also managed her own clientele while renting two stations in a booth rental salon being booked out 3 weeks at any given time.  She has experience in quick service operations, and the service industry in general.   She understands the pains growth quickly can have on a business and team and wants to help business owners build a strong foundation.  She is fluent in English, Greek and Spanish. So if you need to have a consultation in those languages, she is your person.


Leisa Wallace

Creative expert and published author Leisa Wallace joins WBCutah as a consultant. As an experienced author and business owner, Leisa specializes in helping other creatives hone their skills into a profitable business. Including, branding, advertising, social media marketing, and website design for the DIYer.


Talia Hansen

Talia can support emerging entrepreneurs through the ideation process as they develop a customer-focused product or service. Help established small businesses pivot to create new marketing strategies.  Work with all businesses to connect them to COVID relief programs and local resources.  Coach business owners to develop business plan frameworks to serve as a roadmap that gives direction to the business.


Kait Hatzidakis

Kait moved to Salt Lake City in 2015. She is a SLCC Alumni and Serial Entrepreneur. Having written over 1,000 business plans, Kait specializes in startups, business strategy, and organic marketing techniques. After being laid off from a startup in 2017, she started her first freelance writing business while attending SLCC. She is infinitely inspired by her grandmother and grandfather who currently run their own Fine Arts company, touring the south-eastern United States art show circuit.

Join us in celebrating International Women’s Day! Enjoy a panel of women who have taken their business internationally through exporting and importing. Indulge in light hors d’oeuvres while networking with fellow entrepreneurs. This event is presented in collaboration with the World Trade Center Utah.

The annual Summer Social held in August is a fundraising event which brings together prominent Utah women for a fun evening of live music, mingling, booths, silent auction, and delicious food all in support of the Women’s Business Center of Utah.

Salt Lake Chamber’s Women & Business Conference and Wells Fargo ATHENA Awards Luncheon is the primary fundraiser for the Women’s Business Center of Utah. A full day of informative breakout sessions and inspirational speakers that recognize the accomplishments of those helping make a difference here in our local community.

WBCUtah hosts an appreciation breakfast to recognize and thank our clients, supporters, partners and volunteers. We share the updated output and impact of our services on women business owners statewide, as well as the current state of women business ownership in Utah. We review recent accomplishments and what is on the horizon for WBCUtah and the clients we serve.
