Our Core Values

As fierce advocates of Utah women business owners; we commit to live, work and serve by the following five core values:

We believe that all women deserve the opportunity to embark on, grow through and benefit from entrepreneurship. We recognize that each woman has different circumstances and will support them with women-focused resources, opportunities and support they need to be successful. We celebrate the diversity within Utah’s business community, and will step up and defend women business owners who are treated unfairly.

We take women business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs seriously no matter the size, industry or location, as they compete in the marketplace and contribute to Utah’s economy. We are committed to earning and keeping trust through integrity, confidentiality and loyalty. Transparency is important to us as we build long-term relationships and collaborations.

We embrace the Golden Rule and will meet women where they are with understanding, empathy and no judgement. We offer ourselves and each other patience when life gets in the way. We appreciate and learn from others’ perspectives or situations, and in the spirit of kindness and gratitude,  value openness, warmth and hand-holding support.

We believe teamwork is the best way to multiply our efforts and are convinced collaboration is how we can do the most good. Our commitment to others is through ‘listening and evolving’ together.  Through shared goals and mutual support we believe the outcomes are more effective and our greater successes are realized.

We are inspired by women who dare to take on business ownership and are compelled to share and celebrate their accomplishments, big and small, which illuminates their value and impact in our community and fuels optimism for future aspiring women who will join Utah’s “Sisterhood of Entrepreneurship”.

Think BIG

  • Instead of renting space at a salon, try opening your own salon.

  • Instead of opening a retail business, move up the supply chain and sell products wholesale.

  • Have you considered selling outside our borders?
