Pulling from their own experience, our business advisors can help seasoned and aspiring women business owners alike. To get started, create a client profile and then request a session.
WBCUtah is able to offer individualized women-focused business advising at no cost to you because the expense is covered by taxpayer dollars through SBA grants and other funders.
NO SHOWS: When you miss an appointment, our talented advisor’s time is wasted, which could have been utilized in assisting another woman business owner. If you are unable to make your appointment, please be courteous and cancel or reschedule at the earliest moment possible. If you no show more than twice we reserve the right to discontinue free advising to you.

Efi comes from a family of entrepreneurship. Ever since she was young she helped her family in their restaurants. She also managed her own clientele while renting two stations in a booth rental salon being booked out 3 weeks at any given time. She has experience in quick service operations, and the service industry in general. She understands the pains growth quickly can have on a business and team and wants to help business owners build a strong foundation. She is fluent in English, Greek and Spanish. So if you need to have a consultation in those languages, she is your person.
Connie is the Lead Business Advisor for the Women’s Business Center. She has over 20 years of business experience, and even began her own construction consulting company in 2001. She’s financially savvy, with experience working with both Zions Bank and KeyBank. Best of all, Connie has a passion for helping other women be successful, and she is always happy to lend a helping hand.
Talia can support emerging entrepreneurs through the ideation process as they develop a customer-focused product or service. Help established small businesses pivot to create new marketing strategies. Work with all businesses to connect them to COVID relief programs and local resources. Coach business owners to develop business plan frameworks to serve as a roadmap that gives direction to the business.
Creative expert and published author Leisa Wallace joins WBCutah as a consultant. As an experienced author and business owner, Leisa specializes in helping other creatives hone their skills into a profitable business. Including, branding, advertising, social media marketing, and website design for the DIYer.
Kait moved to Salt Lake City in 2015. She is a SLCC Alumni and Serial Entrepreneur. Having written over 1,000 business plans, Kait specializes in startups, business strategy, and organic marketing techniques. After being laid off from a startup in 2017, she started her first freelance writing business while attending SLCC. She is infinitely inspired by her grandmother and grandfather who currently run their own Fine Arts company, touring the south-eastern United States art show circuit.
